Site Information: Oops....sorry!
Posted: 15 December 2001

It has come to my attention that my avatars are now not showing-up on message boards or websites.
My webhost Angelfire seems to have stopped "remote linking" GIFs which means that my avatars will not display anywhere except on an Angelfire site.
I am currently searching for a new home for my website and avatars.
I hope you can all bear with me over this period, but I promise you that LittleStar's avatars will be back bigger and better than before.

Madonna attacks the working brit
Posted: 14 December 2001

From: www.peoplenews.com
One year after marrying into britain, Madonna may just have qualified for british citizenship. Speaking to fans yesterday, she attacked 'lazy british workmen' as she described her despair with the renovation work going on in her central London home.
The £5.7 million five-storey Georgian townhouse in London has eight bedrooms, a lift, a library, living quarters for servants, a drawing room and a walled garden. But after spending nearly £1 million, she's griping about the lack of willing workers.
'I can't believe how people don't like to work,' she laughed. 'The work week starts at noon on Monday and ends at noon on Friday. I'm used to people in America working seven days a week. It's highly irritating. They leave work at five - and there are bank holidays every minute here.
When you hire an employee here, they remind you that they get four weeks' paid vacation.' And so Madonna finally becomes a member of the dissatisfied british aristocracy.

Madonna's Turner Prize speech
Posted: 09 December 2001

Madonna presented the Turner Prize to Martin Creed at the Tate britain gallery tonight.
She gave a wonderful speech, and looked gorgeous in a Stella McCartney designed trouser-suit.

Thank YOU sir! I'd like to thank you all for coming to my house, I hope you like my art collection. I have a new record in stores right now, it's called "GHV2" and Stella Mc.Cartney designed my clothes. Seriously... Welcome to Tate britain. It's a little bit strange handing out a prize for the "best" artist because there is no such thing as the "best" anything - there are only opinions. Personally I think award ceremonies are silly. Does anyone agree on the same thing? Never. Do awards make the world a better place? No... Does an artist whom wins an award become a better artist? DEFINITELY not really. Is it nice to win twenty grand? Definitely - but after spending so long in this city I can tell you that it won't last very long. What I do know is that art is at it's best when there is no money, because art has nothing to do with money and everything to do with love. And like love, it can be inspiring, inexplicable, provocative and sometimes infuriating. Nevertheless, we cannot live without it and that is why I'm here. Not because I think that one artist is better than another, but because I want to support any artist who not only has something to say, but the balls to say it. In a time when political correctness is valued over honesty, I would also like to say RIGHT ON, MOTHERF*CKERS". Everyone, EVERYONE is a winner. So.... And the winner is.... Huh.... Right, ahem, right.... And the name is Mrs. Ritchie thank YOU very much. Oh.... Oh! And the winner is Martin Creed. Don't spend it all in one place! Nice coat!

Thanks to Justin at Madonnarama for the transcript of the speech!

Photographs to follow tomorrow.
