Now cover your "raspberries" Madonna!
Posted: 30 November 2001

Following on from the Radio 1 interview in which Madonna confessed to the fact that Guy tells her to cover up her raspberry ripples (Cockney rhyming slang for nipples!), Now magazine (05 December 2001 issue) has a two-page spread on how she can cover them up.
The UK-based magazine shows Madonna how she can cover up in five different outfits.

I'm sure Madonna will pay strict attention to this article. NOT!

Madonna shuffles in for poker game
Posted: 29 November 2001

Source: Metro
Poker was once the men-only preserve of hustlers and no-gooders, chomping on cigars in smoke-filled back rooms.
But now the card game has the stamp of approval from A-list celebrities, among them Madonna and her film director husband, Guy Ritchie.
They were the star guests at a party last night in Soho's Kaberet Club, where guests were invited to try Booray poker, a lesser-known Cajun variety of the shuffler's favourite.
Claudia Schiffer, Kate Moss, Sophie Dahl, Nick Moran and ubiquitous It Girl Victoria Hervey were also at the game, hosted by drinks maker Southern Comfort.
All the guests were given advice on honing their poker skills from eminent dealers and players.

Madonna's Potter despair
Posted: 21 November 2001

From www.peoplenews.com
Madonna was turned away from a screening of the Harry Potter film at the Marble Arch Odeon last weekend after the cinema was block-booked by a bunch of bankers.
Framlington Investment Management was holding a party for clients at the screening, which Madonna had planned to attend with an unspecified number of children.
'She phoned them up and said, "I would like however many tickets,"' gloats one City worker. 'Unfortunately there wasn't any space. At least she had the sense to ring ahead. There were lots of mothers turning up with children without tickets. There were tears.'
Somehow, you can't imagine Mrs R getting so distraught.

Madonna's Millions
Posted: 17 November 2001

BBC Choice Sunday 18 November 2001 8.00-8.30pm

Review from Evening Standard - 16 November 2001
Records, book, pencil cases....You name it, you can buy it with Madonna's face on it. But how much has Mrs Ritchie earned over the years?
This documentary, written and presented by the sparkly sarky Max Flint, tries to tot up Madge's wealth by examining her assets and career (not easy, as she's a secretive lady) while a telethon-style totaliser gives us her estimated worth (£149m).
There is also never-before-seen footage of a young Ms Ciccone, plus contributions from first stylist, Maripol (who sunk her cash into replica crosses, only for Maddy to change her image), and Bert Paddell, Madonna's original business manager.
Mmmm....it seems we are indeed living in a material world.
