Wednesday 06 September - Sazka Arena, Prague

From Andrej:
I'm from Slovakia, in the last years I went to see all 3 tours to Paris and I can't describe my feelings.
Madonna and the whole show was always breathtaking! I loved and enjoyed every second of it.
Seeing her on stage is for sure a liftime experience and a huge inspiration. There are certain things in life you should do/see and a madonna concert is for sure one of them!
As I always went to Paris I was very curious to see her for the first time in a former 'socialistic' country.
The show on the 6th was GREAT, I have to say even better than the last one on the 31st of August in Paris. She was more relaxed, smiling, full of energy....
BUT even I'm coming from former Czechoslovakia I was totaly 'sick' from most of Czech audience. They were just sitting and looking, almost nobody was dancing.
We also had seats but I would never in my life just sit! Anyway how can you sit at such a show?! We were a group of 6 people and started to jump in the second the show started and believe it or not we were attacked by the people sitting behind us!
They screamed at us to sit down as they can't see anyting and they didn't pay so much money just to see our back. I really couldn't believe. this shows again how much most of us coming from this countries are still blocked and afraid to show our feelings and not free in our heads.
During all your career you have helped so many people, please DON'T STOP and come again. WE NEED YOU MORE THAN YOU THINK!

From Bill:
Madonna was the consumate professional, as usual last night during her first Prague performance. During the time she speaks with the audience, she said that she appreciates that Czechs had to fight for freedom, but not to forget that freedom is in the mind.
She also said that Prague is a beautiful city with beautiful people. I couldn't agree more.

From Jakub:
She started her speech by sitting down on the stairs, drinking some water and saying 'Cheers, Prague'. Then she said: 'Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for coming to my show. I just wanna make a comment that I understand what the Czech republic has been through in the fight for freedom. The freedom is inside your head, okay? Don't forget that.'
That was very nice of her, she again proved herself to be not only a popstar but a person who knows what was and what is going on in the world. 'Are you enjoying your freedom?' was another of her questions.
She did her speech about the flags - 'Thank you for coming here....Let's see the flags - Thank you Germany, Thank you, Italy.' Then she spotted another flag - 'Thank you, Poland'. She was wrong, it was a Norwegian flag and although we didn't hear it, she was corrected. She was great and turned it into a joke 'Norway, of course....I keep getting that one wrong' and she laughed.
She kinda spoke slowly and sometimes she had to repeat her questions or ask us to repeat afer her again as the people here usually don't speak English well. I didn't understand her one sentence - she wanted us to say 'Fuck George Bush' and then '*I didn't catch that*' is a whore'. Any ideas who she was talking about? ;-)
She seemed to have some technical difficulties - during Live To Tell her mic went off for a second, but other then that the show seemed to be okay.
The bottom line - great show, it was worth the money - she IS the ultimate icon:-)

Thursday 07 September - Sazka Arena, Prague

From Jakub:
Madonna herself got a kiss on the cheek from a fan who had seen the show an amazing seventeen times!
And that Madonna thanked her fans again by saying that she felt very lucky, but that part of the luck comes from her fans.
