Tuesday 02 September - Amsterdam ArenA, Amsterdam

From Divamayday:
The audience was great and everybody really felt good about the show. When Madonna opened the show with Candy Shop the crowd started screaming.
Madonna looked fabulous and rested and you could she she really enjoyed it herself.
She was so into it that she made mistakes with her words about three times. She even said to the audience you make me mess up my words!
Madonna talked to her audience quite alot and said it was the best crowd so far. When Vogue started it just went to the next level. The new version was amazing, simple and clean but strong and powerful.
For me Like A Prayer was a highlight because of the remix.
I went home after the show and I kept thinking what the hell did I see, it was so much and I already forgot half of it. Just today I realised what this woman did. She let everybody know that she's not done yet and has energy of 10 people.

From Nugzar:
She rocked the arena, her dance routines are dazzling. I personally loved Vogue, and Devil Wouldn't Recognize You was very touching.
If it was up to me, I'd take away her guitar, so we can enjoy her beautiful dancing even more ;-)

From Stef:
I’ve been to see one of the best if not the best concert Madonna ever made in Amsterdam yesterday. It was pouring rain outside the stadium but finally round 6pm we were allowed to get in.
Robyn gave the best of herself during the preshow.
Then finally at 9:20pm the lights went out and pink spotlights on stage two huge M’s next to the stage in silver and extra silver glitter M on screen.
An amazing sound and lightshow came on the screen then the screen opened and there she was sitting on her throne the QUEEN OF POP her Madgesty.
She opened with Candy Shop giving the song a whole new dimension. The whole show was from beginning to end fantastic she looked stunningly beautiful.
She missed a step during the rope skipping but reacted immediately to the crowd with 'Hey it’s not because I missed that you shouldn’t sing along'.
She took time to interact with the crowd asking if we had a suggestion for a song we would like to hear. Then she said 'What about Happy Birthday for me?!' Everybody cheered and sang to her.
Madonna also made a few jokes, she sang a few lines of Express Yourself and then she said 'Don’t you just hate men who can’t express themselves and then you get hung up on them?' Then the song (rock version with her on the guitar) of Hung Up came.
I could go on and on about it but it’s best if you all just go and see the show it was so worth it.

From Tom:
This tour was very different then the last one in my opinion. It was clean, less polished. Her voice wasn't that much supported and the band seems more like a band instead of a tape. And I like that. It was back to basic and her voice sounded great!
M had to work the crowd because apart from the opening and 'The Beat Goes On' the other arrangement of 'Human Nature', 'Vogue' and 'Die Another Day' were not very good in my opinion and the crowd did not respond well to them. It wasn't until 'Into The Groove' the crowd warmed up.
M spoke, yelled, ooo-ed and aaah-ed and tried to make contact with the crowd from the beginning. So, either she listened to the critics and really tried to make it work or she was just in a good mood. She 'shined' the whole evening.
She said 'You are the best crowd so far' and you could see that she meant that and it was her own doing.
Highlights for me where the choreography of 'Heartbeat', everything of 'Borderline' and 'She's Not Me', 'Devil Wouldn't Recognize You', 'You Must Love Me' and 'Like A Prayer'. All the other songs where great as well.
The arena was almost sold out but it seems there where more people on the field then in 2005. The Golden circle was also very crowded. We where seated in the ICON section and had a great view.
There where no technical difficulties as well in Amsterdam, all the screens seems to be working.
So it was a wonderfull night in Amsterdam but she really has to lose that ugly wig that she wears at the end!
