Thursday 06 November - Dodgers Stadium, Los Angeles

From albee albee:
I went to my 2nd show of Sticky & Sweet. Thank God the show started at 9:40pm! There was gridlock traffic 4 miles starting at Sunset Blvd with back to back cars waiting to get into Dodgers Stadium. It got so bad we parked the car in the middle of no where and walked 2.5 miles and surely we made it 15 minutes before she went on.
Jamie Lee Curtis was sitting 2 rows in front of us. The person behind me said she say Jennifer Lopez at the show.
The show was great! 1/2 of Madonna's stage was missing due to technical problems.
When she did 'Dress You Up' for the sing along, she expressed her sympathy on the Proposition 8 banning Same Sex marriages and encourage people to fight and continue perservering.

From Bill:
So last night was a blast! The show was a non-stop dance fest. We were in a crowd near the front - stage right M.
As we were standing there waiting for the show to start, I saw Rita Wilson chatting with some fans, Rachel Zoe, Ali and Someone - two blond girls, and then, Jennifer Lopez in a gaggle of entourage. She was glowing in a white outfit. Looked flawless! Lastly, as the show was about to start, in her own entourage, Lola appeared and walked right by! What a cutie!
The show started and we all went crazy nuts! Britney appeared at the end of Human Nature - she looked great! Madonna was playful and hugged her - said, 'She's not your bitch!' and motioned to Britney. I am sure you have all seen the youtube by now.
Overall, fantastic show - the request section was Dress You Up - and was so fun.
Justin was fantastic. Just so great!
She closed the night by saying, 'Thank You Los Angeles - you have been unexpectedly responsive!'

From Denni:
Yes, Britney was there as well as Justin T. She came on stage towards the end of 'Human Nature', sang couple lines and danced for a couple minutes altogether. As you can imagine, audince went wild. It was nice to see the Queen and Princess of Pop together on stage. Justin was there for '4 Minutes' as he did before. All in all, if you want to learn how it is done, go to see Madonna.

From Esperanza:
The concert was intense, the moment Madonna went on stage the crowd went mad. She enjoyed her self very much. Amazing watching Britney and Justin on stage with Madonna. I wish they could have closed with her for the finale but oh well it was even good without them.
Favorite moment of the night are Vogue, Human Nature, Into The Groove, Like A Prayer, 4 Minutes, Dress You Up (sing-along), oh here she enjoyed her self very much and told the audience that we will not stop the fight for equality on gay marriage.
For all you people who have not seen a Madonna concert, you are missing out.

From Matt:
Just got back from 4th row right Sticky & Sweet and wow what a night! The place was crawling with celebrities....Fergie, J.LO, Hayden Panaterrie (sp?), Ken Paves, Rachel Zoe and Rita Wilson were all within a few rows from us! Lourdes was with Carlos and Rocco and walked right by us right before the lights went down.
Not to mention Britney and Justin's killer performances, respectively, with Madonna! The show was fantastic, and she was VERY talkative.
When Britney walked out in the middle of Human Nature, Madonna said 'Oh, hey Britney' completely like she didn't know Britney was there....Haha, it was my favorite moment of the whole night. Everyone looked amazing.

From ROBERTBOYRACER:
I know everybody says the show they went to was the best but I think I have to say it and it's actually true, (well, at least the best show of this tour).
It was unique for several reasons as most fans already know. This was the first show without the circular screen hanging above the center stage. Due to an accident while setting the stage up the day before, the lighting rig was damaged to the point of almost collapse. Madonna was given the choice to postpone the show or go on without it. As the old Hollywood saying goes, 'The show must go on!'
She did mention the missing lighting at the beginning of 'You Must Love Me'. She apologised for not being able to see into the eyes of the audience 'which is the whole point of performing' she said and asked the audience to come closer so she could feel them. It will be interesting to see if the rig will be repaired for the rest of the tour or if the show will go on without it.
Madonna was late taking the stage. There are some reports that she was 1 1/2-3hrs late which are not true. She was 45mins late from her usual on-stage time of 9pm. The show did not end till midnight.
Once the show began, it was non-stop fun. I was a little hesitant that i would like this show given that I haven't really been too keen on the latest album and half the show are songs from 'Hard Candy'. I quite enjoyed the 'She's Not Me' performance as well as 'Devil Wouldn't Recognize You' and 'Miles Away'. It was great fun to see see Britney come out during 'Human Nature' and icing on such an already sweet show to see Justin as intended on '4 Minutes' with Madonna.
She mentioned Obama's election and the passing of Proposition 8 (Prop 8 is a ban in California on gay marriage that was passed on election day). 'We must continue to fight. If we can have a black president, we can have gay marriage' was her comment on the disappointing passage. During the request portion she again asked the crowd to come closer and fill in the empty spaces around the stage and the audience complied including myself. 'Dress You Up' was the request song she sang this night.
Madonna truly gives everything she can to her fans when she is on stage during every show. She's definitely working hard up there and having fun while doing so. Thank you Madonna, I had a great time as usual.
