Wednesday 22 October - Bell Center, Montreal

From Eric:
When her Madgesty came out on stage she was all smiles she definitely was in a great mood. The crowd went crazy for two hours, screaming jumping and singing with her she interacted with the crowd, to tell you the truth the two hour show went by too quickly.
Came out of the concert wanting more and more of Madonna.

From Samy:
I just came from the first show in Montreal! That was just amazing. The crowd went crazy most of the time. I went to Boston last week to the concert and let me tell you that there was a huge difference in the vibe. I don't want to hang my shit on Boston, but Montreal rocks! Madonna talked a lot to the crowd and she seemed happy of the response she got. One of my friends is one of her dancers and he told me after the show that they all loved performing in front of such a receptive audience and that they just love Montreal!

From Stephen:
I was lucky and scored two front row tickets to Madonna's first Montreal Show. I was able to interact with her-here is what happened: Myself, and my partner decided to put on Sarah Palin Sucks shirts for the show. Madonna's opinion on her is the same as ours so we thought they would be perfect for the concert. Madonna read my shirt and mouthed to me that she liked it. During Into The Groove, she came over and shook both of our hands!
The best part was when the request section came she was asked to do Express Yourself. After she finished she said to the audience - 'You know who else is expressing themselves? Those guys over there in the t-shirts.' she then said 'I think they should express themselves!' after that, she got her camera man to put us up on all the video screens and everyone cheered. Later, when I thought it couldn't get better she came over and slapped our hands, sang a chorus of Like A Prayer directly to me, and then winked!
This is my seventh time seeing Madonna and she was better than ever! Her voice was amazing, interaction with the crowd in entirety was great, the dancers were so talented, and choreography for Vogue and Give It 2 Me were solid. For anyone that was worrying Sticky & Sweet couldn't compete with Confessions - it can! Wow Madonna, thanks for the amazing experience!

Thursday 23 October - Bell Center, Montreal

From Alain:
First off all the Queen was in great shape and great voice but you could see she had fun.
She told us that she had French Canadian blood and during Into The Groove I was so excited she ask me if I wanna it to sing, of course I said yes so she give me the mic and I gave it all for the best.
Everything was awesome and at the end of the show she thanked us twice and said goodnight. Everyone agreed that in Montreal it was the best show so far.

From Chris:
What an awesome AWESOME night....even better than last night!
Without any further adieu....the request song was SORRY! It was awesome! She sang it for a good two minutes and she gave us a speech of how she's French Canadian and we have the same blood flowing through our bodies....it was really cool. Ha Ha when she started Hung Up, after Sorry, she said 'Okay now I'm gonna do another old song....well, about as old as the last song'.
Highlights were Like A Prayer, the all time best ever! As well as La Isla Bonita, Devil Wouldn't Recognize You, She's Not Me, Beat Goes On was INCREDIBLE! Madonna blew me a kiss and winked! I'm quite sure she recognized me from last night and from the rehearsals yesterday afternoon!
But the best part of all was being there with my best friend. In fact, another BIG highlight is that the person sitting IMMEDIATELY to her left CAUGHT THE FREAKING SUNGLASSES! I have a picture of her with him wearing them. BTW, I was ministage left, two rows behind the barrier.
Incredible night guys, THE BEST MADONNA SHOW I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! WOW! Forget about sleeping tonight!
At the end we got a THANK YOU MONTREAL AND GOODNIGHT. Which we didn't get last night....and I understand few cities have gotten this so far on the tour.
This has been the best experience ever. Last night I saw a warm Madonna, a peaceful, energetic and appreciative Madonna. I've been truly reminded (as if I needed to be) of why I love this woman so much....why we all do :)
