Tuesday 26 August - Stade Charles Ehrmann, Nice

From isangrin:
Hey there! I am French, and I was in Nice on tuesday. It was really big, despite the lack of screen from time to time. I like the songs and the new music added for them; she really kiks off. I have to say that this show is my favorite (I saw for real Reinvention and Confessions) this one is more mature, more 'simple' if you know what I mean. I can't tell what songs I like because some of you want to keep the surprise - and let me tell you, you will be! Great job Maddie :) I hope you'll enjoy the show!

From Jean Francois:
I have seen Madonna 5 times....Girlie Show/Drowned World/RIT/CT/SAS. This is the first time I have seen Madonna in a stadium and it's cleary too large a venue to appreciate 100% of the show. I was afraid the the sound would be bad, but it was incredibily good.
There were some technical problems but nothing really important (screens off for awhile and her guitar failing during Hung Up - she just changed it). She has very good voice (it's only the second show) and she looks beautiful, especially when she wears the dress for the Latin part, and during vogue when she's almost naked!
I didn't like the musical direction so much, but her performance is incredible. My highlights....Beat Goes On, Vogue, Heartbeat, Bordeline, She's Not Me, Devil Wouldn't Recognize You, Miles Away and the best of all....La Isla Bonita and the magic You Must Love Me.

From Laura:
The show was wonderful....but not as wonderful as the Confessions Tour. I have to say that I didn't like so much the dresses and also the choreography was a bit repeated. Wonderful videos have been always displayed and I loved the performance of Like a Prayer and You Must Love Me. However I cannot wait to see her again in this tour.

From Martin:
Well....what can I say....of course it was good experience to see her again and it was my first time to be in golden circle - only about 8-10 meters from stage and catwalk.
Generally it wasn't as good as the Confession tour that I saw in Amsterdam 2 years ago. Maybe its because I dont like the songs off the 'Hard Candy' album so much as the Confessions album.
There was some technical problems with screens on stage and also circle screens at the end of catwalk....the video on screens stopped during some songs or screens were black....or some parts of screens were black.
Madonna didn't communicate with audience so much as during the Confessions tour show and also didn't introduce or say 'thank you' to the band, dancers and all other crew as she did during Confessions tour.
Good point is that Madonna started performing a bit earlier (about 21.20) than it was written on the ticket (21.30).
